A little bit of fun in Llandrillo?

Next week I am off to north Wales to do a mission in Coleg Llandrillo. I have no idea about the place. I don’t even know where it is. So here is a little bit of fun for you. If you have the time why not try and look up the place and find out what is the most interesting fact or place or thing to do in Llandrillo. The winner will get a prize (I am thinking something actually from Llandrillo).

am Jamie, and I am a Christ follower. I love Jesus but more importantly he loves me and made the ultimate sacrifice of his son so that all the things I have done, and will do, have been forgiven. And now I know God, and I pursue to know him more. Motivated and transformed by his grace I live for God, to glorify him by enjoying him.

  1. Llandrillo College uses ‘Moodle’ for interactive learning for it’s students. This is the same software that WEST uses.

Other institutions (Such as Swansea University) use a similar software called ‘Blackboard’

  2. Hanah says:

The Berwyn Mountain Incident is the second most well known British “UFO crash”, after the Rendlesham Forest Incident.[citation needed] It took place on 23 January 1974 on the Berwyn Mountains in LLANDRILLO, Merionethshire, North Wales. Scientific evidence indicates the event was generated by an earthquake [1] and a combination of a bright meteor widely observed over Wales and Northern England at the time[2].

  3. is cutting and pasting from wikipedia allowed?

  4. My second fact would be: “Llandrillo, read by an englishman, might sound a little bit like Amarillo, the focus of the popular song by Peter Kay and Tony Christie which captured the hearts of a nation when it was released to raise monies for charity. However that’s where the similarities end as Llandrillo itself has never raised a significant amount of money by marketing a catchy song.”
