Game Time

rugbyNow it would be fair to say that sport is quite important to me. If I had skysports I would sit in my shorts and watch it all day long, I loves it. Yesterday I was watching on the old BBC the Ospreys Dragons match, which highlighted how much I love rugby. But after 80 minutes its over and that’s it. No more. End of.

I just thought to myself, is that it. Yes, is the short answer.

I am so thankful to be a Christian. It gives me purpose in this life, to know God and enjoy him. It is this topic that I am speaking on in youth group tonight. What is the point of life?wallpaper_1280x1024_7

Imagine if sport was what defined me. Imagine if sport was all I lived for. As soon as my team lost I would be suicidal (I am pretty depressed when they lose mind). There would be no point in living. But in Christ there is purpose and that is possibly the most mind blowing thing in the entire world, no universe. In my evil he gave me life, why? Well I haven’t deserved it is a clue.

Peace Out.

am Jamie, and I am a Christ follower. I love Jesus but more importantly he loves me and made the ultimate sacrifice of his son so that all the things I have done, and will do, have been forgiven. And now I know God, and I pursue to know him more. Motivated and transformed by his grace I live for God, to glorify him by enjoying him.
